“A Digital Reconstruction Procedure for A Disappeared City Space and Its Activities. p.598-p.603″

I have the honour to be a PhD student led by professor Yu-Tung Liu (Aleppo) at the National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan where the research environment that has been created mainly by Professor Liu is full of possibilities and inspirations. After 4 years graduate study in NCTU, I was equipped with key knowledge and technologies of design cognition, design computing, environmental simulation, digital construction, virtual archaeology, and virtual reality.

One journal paper, six conference papers and participations of eleven projects have also been undertaken and published during this period of time. The research project that was the most experimental and won the Ivan Petrovic Prize involves trying to turn traditional process of archaeology into digital one, representing the digital content by the use of VR equipment, and combining the created virtual space with physical one.

The next step we are working on now is starting to enrich the content of the virtual world, enhance the usability of interaction, and ensure the criteria of mental orientation and perception in order to make physical and virtual spaces a seamless fit.
