2006: Communicating Space(s)
Host: Dept. of Architecture, University of Thessaly
Conference Chair: Vassilis BourdakisDuring the last four decades, designers have utilized information
and
communication technologies for creating environmental representations in
order to communicate spatial concepts or designs and for enhancing
spaces, as contexts for mediated communication. This hypothesis implies
two diverse but partially intersecting thematic axes along which spatial
design and communication relate:
Time-based media, information systems and tele-communication networks
Information and communication technologies
The conference examined these themes [website].
